CI HUB aggregates creative content and asset management solutions within Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office. Learn more about the new Shutterstock integration in CI HUB.
Marketers and creatives face increasingly complicated workflows with the increase in asset management solutions, cloud drives, and content sources.
CI HUB simplifies creative workflows by bringing together your content sources and asset management solutions within your design interface in Adobe or Microsoft. This allows you to design with the rich media assets you need and, when you’re ready to export, with the folders you want to access at your fingertips.
Here’s what you can expect from the Shutterstock integration.
Search, preview, license Shutterstock content within Adobe or Microsoft
CI HUB delivers an asset panel that supports Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, InCopy or Adobe Premiere Pro, plus After Effects and Bridge by the end of 2020. And also in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel. Our integration allows you to access Shutterstock content and search within all these tools.
You can enter a keyword to begin your search. From there you have the option to filter by category, license, size, orientation, color, age, gender, ethnicity, and number of people. Once you find an image you like, you can drag and drop directly into your page layout to preview. If you want to swap the image with another one, all you have to do is drag and drop the new image on top of the previous one. The image link will automatically update to your new image.
When you’re happy with an image, you can license directly within CI HUB without opening another tab to search, license, download, and returning to your design tools to upload.
Additionally, the Shutterstock integration in CI HUB supports search, preview, and licensing of Shutterstock images, illustrations, vectors, editorial photos, videos, and music tracks.
AI-powered similar image search
To further accelerate your creative workflow, CI HUB integrated Shutterstock’s AI-powered reverse image search to give users the option to search visually instead of with keywords.
Let’s say you have an image within your Dropbox folder but you’ve already used it within your design project. However, you want to find something similar to maintain branding and visual consistency across the project. You can simply drop your existing image into the Shutterstock panel within CI HUB to search the Shutterstock library for visually similar images or videos.
Export across DAMs, CMS, and file management solutions
The last step in a creative process is exporting your design to the appropriate folders so you can share it with other team members and clients to launch campaigns. CI HUB is already integrated with Aprimo, Bynder, Brandfolder, BrandMaster, Cloudinary, Dropbox, Picturepark, Pixelboxx, Google Drive, Widen, and many more.
This allows you to both import and export media assets from your preferred, or multiple, asset management systems. When you’re done with your design, you can simply license the Shutterstock content you’ve selected and export your completed work to any of the above asset management solutions for a frictionless workflow experience from start to finish.
