The card designs are provided as editable EPS files and JPEG images. To edit color, graphics, or type on your card, you’ll need to have access to vector software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign. You can share the JPEG versions straightaway.

How to Open and Edit Your EPS eCards Using Adobe Illustrator
Step 1
Open the EPS folder inside the ZIP file you downloaded.
Inside the folder, open the EPS eCard Templates folder. Select the card you’d like to edit and open the EPS file in Illustrator.
Step 2
Right-Click > Ungroup the elements on the artboard.
Once ungrouped, you can select and edit individual elements of the image. You can remove the pun (not that you’d want to, of course) and insert your own type, or edit the color of the background or illustration using the Swatches panel (Window > Swatches).
Step 3
Once you’ve finished editing your image, make sure the edges of the artboard align to the artwork by going to Object > Artboards > Fit to Artwork Bounds.
Step 4
To export your card as a JPEG or PNG image, go to File > Export > Save for Web.
In the Save for Web window that opens, set the Width and Height of the image to 1024 px. Next, choose JPEG or PNG from the file type option at the top-right of the window. Then, click Save.
Awesome job! You can now share your eCard image with your valentine . . . or share the love and post it on your social media account.
